Fill all 49 working spaces with groups of cards adding up to even numbers.
The Jacks, Queens and Kings are placed in a reserve pile. The number cards (including Aces) are placed in the stock. Aces have a value of 1. Cards moved to the working spaces must touch another card horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Jacks, Queens or Kings moved to working spaces are placed face down, similar to the black squares in crosswords. Two face down cards cannot touch vertically or horizontally. The number cards in each row and column must add up to an even number. The number cards between two face down cards, or a face down card and the edge of the crossword must also add up to an even number.
